Events

Friday - August 15th

  • Movie Night on the Green, Palmer Square Green, 8:30 PM 
    Join us on the Green for a magical outdoor movie night with a family-friendly film starting at 8:30pm, The Mighty Ducks. Arrive early to shop, dine, or grab takeout for a picnic, and bring a blanket or chairs—parking is available in the Hulfish Street and Chambers Street Garages. More info here
  • Sunset Sips & Sounds, Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Road, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    Join us this Friday night at Terhune Orchards Vineyard and Winery for wine, music, and light bites in our historic apple orchard. Enjoy award-winning wines, farm-fresh food, and live music from local artists (5–8pm) in styles from jazz and blues to folk and rock. More info here
  • Highland Park Farmers Market, 212 Raritan Avenue, 11:00AM–5:00PM
    Founded in 1996, the Highland Park Farmers Market runs every Friday from February to December, offering local organic produce, farm-fresh foods, and artisan goods, plus special events like live music and seasonal celebrations. The market also connects the community to social services, accepts SNAP/EBT, participates in the Good Food Bucks Program, and many vendors accept WIC/Senior FMNP.

Saturday - August 16th

  • Princeton Photo Workshop, Princeton, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
    Learn to take impressive, high-quality photos with your phone by exploring its advantages, limitations, and simple techniques to improve your shots. This class covers topics like camera handling, focus, filters, burst mode, brightness, night photography, and photo enhancement with free software—perfect for anyone wanting to elevate their everyday photography.   • Eco-Art Exchange, 952 Alexander Road, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM 
    West Windsor Arts will host Eco-Art Exchange: Thrift, Create, Repeat!—a thrift-style art supply sale—on August 16, offering new and gently used materials to encourage sustainability, creativity, and community. Donations of clean, usable art supplies will be accepted on August 9 (10am–3pm), excluding broken or damaged items. More info here
  • Sourland Mountain Festival, Unionville Vinyard, 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM 
    The Sourland Mountain Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary on Saturday, August 16, from 3–8:30pm at Unionville Vineyard in Hunterdon County, with live music, local food and drink, and community spirit—rain or shine. Enjoy the scenic drive and beautiful vineyard setting that showcase the charm of Central Jersey. Tickets start at $35, and can be purchased here

Sunday - August 17th

  • Metuchen Street Fair & Craft Show, New Street and Main Street, All Day
    Come on down to Metuchen for the Annual Metuchen Street Fair & Craft Show and enjoy a day of family fun with original arts & crafts, artists, crafters, vendors, food, rides, live music, DJ performances and more. Admission is free!
  • Listen Local: Full Code, Princeton Public Library - Hinds Plaza, 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM
    As part of the Listen Local series, classic rock band Full Code—made up of local Penn Medicine doctors and a hospital chaplain—plays hits from The Beatles to Bruce Springsteen. Enjoy their nostalgic set on Hinds Plaza (or in the Community Room if it rains) and relive the glory days of rock. More info here
