Spooky season is upon us! Plenty of fall and festivfe activities going on this weekend, and theweather
should hold out for the weekend, with temperatures in the high 50s/low 60s.

Princeton Collects, Princeton University Art Museum, All Day The Princeton
University Art Museum will open "Princeton Collects" from October 31, 2025, through March 29, 2026,
showcasing around 150 works drawn from over 2,000 gifts and promised donations. Installed in the
museum’s new facility, the exhibition spans centuries and cultures, featuring major pieces from
artists like Gerhard Richter, Joan Mitchell, and Sean Scully.

Halloween, Princeton Garden Theatre, 9:45PMThe Princeton Garden Theatre will screen John Carpenter’s classic horror film Halloween on Friday,
October 31, at 9:45 p.m. The 1978 film follows Michael Myers as he escapes a mental institution and
terrorizes his hometown on Halloween night. Known for its chilling score and enduring influence, the
movie remains a cornerstone of the horror genre. Tickets are $13 and can be purchased here

Fall Harvest Festival, Piscataway, 10:00AM - 5:00PMEast Jersey Old Town Village will host a free, family-friendly Fall Festival from October 31 to
November 2, open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can enjoy pumpkin picking, wagon rides, craft
stations for kids, and live music by the Sawmill Run Old Time String Band. The event also features
food from Beastro and demonstrations by living history interpreters in the Village’s historic

4-H Haunted House and Hayride, East Brunswick, 7:00PM - 9:00PM The 4-H Center
in East Brunswick hosts its annual Haunted House and Hayride every Friday and Saturday in October
from 7 to 10:30 p.m., with a special Halloween night event on October 31 running from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tickets are $6 for the Haunted House or $10 for a combo ticket, and all proceeds benefit local 4-H

Karaoke Halloween Party, Ashbury Park, 8:00 - 11:00PMEmo Night Karaoke returns to Asbury Park on October 30 at 1213 Ocean Avenue North, giving fans a
chance to front a live band made up of former members of Just Surrender, Freshman 15, and other pop
punk favorites. With more than 100 classic emo songs, full concert lighting, and on-screen lyrics,
the event lets the crowd become the show in an interactive throwback experience. $17 in advance, $20

Wine and comedy night, Ringoes, 7:00PMOld York Cellars continues its Comedy Night series hosted by award-winning comedian Helene Angley,
running on the first and third Saturdays of each month through November 29. The evening features a
lineup of rising and seasoned comics, alongside wine, food, and cocktail options from the winery’s
menu. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show, with tickets priced at $27.50 and are available here

Smodcastle Cinema Horrorfest, Atlantic Highlands, 11:30AM - 7:30PM The First
Annual Smodcastle HorrorFest launches a day-long celebration of independent horror filmmaking,
featuring blocks of shorts and features from emerging storytellers. Held over Halloween weekend, the
festival offers a packed lineup of films ranging from supernatural thrillers to dark comedies,
including Infernal, The Fuzzies, Housewife, and

The great Annual Pumpkin Smash, Hillsborough, 10:00AM - 2:00PMThe Great Pumpkin Smash returns on November 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a spirited mix of
fall fun and hands-on chaos. Visitors can enjoy hayrides, a corn maze, and a petting zoo before
taking part in the main event—smashing pumpkins for pure seasonal joy. Admission is $18 per person,

West Winsor Farmer's Market, Princeton Junction, 9:00AM - 1:00PMThe West Windsor Community Farmers Market kicks off its 22nd season in 2025, continuing its

Gabe Parsons will headline Union Coffee’s Sunday Music Series in Lambertville on November 2 from 4
to 6 p.m. The Hopewell Valley native, known for his road-worn storytelling style and soulful live
performances, returns home after years on the New Orleans circuit. Fans can expect an intimate set

May's Cafe in the woods, Princeton, 9:00AM - 11:30AM Visitors can enjoy a
peaceful morning at May’s Barden Café in Herrontown Woods on Sunday, November 2, from 9 to 11:30
a.m. The pop-up café offers coffee, tea, and homemade baked treats surrounded by native flowers and
woodland trails. Proceeds from the event will benefit stewardship and programming efforts at

Richardson Chamber Concert, Princeton, 3:00PM The Richardson Chamber Players
will perform at Princeton University’s Richardson Auditorium on Sunday, November 2, at 3 p.m. The
program, titled “A Little Night Music,” features works by Mahler, Schoenberg, and cellist-composer
Clancy Newman. The ensemble includes Princeton faculty, guest artists, and student musicians, with

Haunted Theatre Tour, Lincroft, 2:00 - 4:00PM Brookdale Community College’s
Haunted Theater will offer its “Lights On, Scares Off” tours on October 12, October 26, and November
