Hope you're having a fantastic week. The weather this weekend looks to be warming up, with temps reaching the mid 60s this weekend. However, it looks partly cloudy most of the weekend, with a small chance of rain leading up to Saturday.

Without further ado, here's what's happening this weekend:

Friday - March 6th

  • Highland Farmers Market, Highland Park, 11:00AM - 4:00PM
    The Highland Park Farmers Market returns for its 30th season starting March 6, offering fresh local produce, baked goods, dairy, fish, and specialty items every Friday, with programs like SNAP/EBT and Good Food Bucks to support community access;

  • South Brunswick Jazz Café Concert – Kai Gibson Quintet, Monmouth Junction, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM
    Bassist Kai Gibson and his quintet will headline the South Brunswick Jazz Café with a mix of jazz, rock, and fusion at the Municipal Complex, offering live music, light refreshments, and BYOB for a $6 admission; more info here.
  • The Dave Matthews Tribute Band, Asbury Park, 8:00 PM
    The Dave Matthews Tribute Band brings two sets of DMB classics and fan favorites to The Stone Pony, joined by special guest Somewhat Relative, with doors opening at 7:00 PM; $22 in advance, $25 at the door, more info here.
  • Teens: Open Mic Night, Princeton, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
    Princeton Public Library and the Municipality of Princeton Student Board will host a teens-only open mic night where local high school students can share music, poetry, and performances in the Community Room; more info here.

Saturday - March 7th

  • Grilled Cheese Weekend, Unionville, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    Unionville Vineyards will host a weekend celebration of grilled cheese and wine featuring Olsson's Fine Foods, live music by James Popik and Rich Seiner, and the release of their sparkling Seyval Blanc, with free entry for families; more info here.
  • Science On Saturday Lecture Series, Princeton, 9:30 AM
    The Princeton Plasma Physics Lab will host cognitive scientist Tatiana Lombrozo for a free talk titled "Why We Ask Why: The Science of Explanation and the Human Drive to Understand," part of its weekly lecture series for students and the public; more info here.
  • Red, White & Brew Fest, Trenton, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (VIP access 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
    The 3rd Annual Red, White & Brew Fest returns to CURE Insurance Arena with more than 50 craft beers, wines, and spirits to sample, plus live music, games, and a stein-holding contest, open to guests 21 and over; tickets start at $56, more info here.
  • Plein Air PLUS Auction 2026, Lambertville, 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Sunday - March 8th

  • Signs of Spring Garden Tour, Princeton, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

  • Asbury Park Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, Asbury Park, 1:00 PM
    The 2026 Asbury Park Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will march from Ocean Avenue and 4th Avenue to Cookman Avenue and Main Street, featuring bands, floats, community groups, and Grand Marshal Kim Guadagno in a festive celebration by the beach; more info here.
  • Tall Oaks Farm & Brewery Pop Up, Farmingdale, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

  • Rumson St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Rumson, 1:00 PM
