Hope you're having a fantastic week. Weather this weekend looks spotty, with some rain possible, but temps in the high 40s/low 50s.

Friday - March 13th

  • 2026 TFS Oscar Shorts Festival, Trenton, 6:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
    Film fans can catch a weekend of award-worthy short films at the Passage Theatre in Trenton, where the Trenton Film Society will screen Oscar-nominated documentary, live action, and animated shorts from March 13-14, with tickets available online and at the box office; more info here.
  • Assunpink Creek Walk, Trenton, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
    The Watershed Institute will lead a guided walk along Trenton’s Assunpink Creek starting at Artworks, offering participants an educational look at the creek’s health, restoration efforts, and community partnerships aimed at improving local water quality and flood resilience. More info here

  • 28th Annual Craft Show, Cranbury, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Sunday - March 15th

  • Mah Jongg Tournament, Bridgewater, 9:30 a.m.- 12:00PM
    The Shimon and Sara Birnbaum JCC in Bridgewater will host its annual Mah Jongg Tournament on March 15, welcoming players for seven rounds of friendly competition, prizes, and community fun, with breakfast, lunch, and snacks included; $70 entry fee, more info here.
  • St. Patrick’s Parade, Freehold, All Day
    The Freehold Borough Arts Council will present its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade along East Main Street, filling downtown with marching groups, music, and Irish pride as part of Freehold’s larger Irish Week festivities that also include local pub crawls and community celebrations; more info here.
  • CKY with Tango Machina, Asbury Park, 7:30 p.m
