Hey Y'all,

Hope you're having a fantastic week. The weather this weekend looks to have a bit of rain on Friday and Sunday, with some cloudy skies on Saturday.

So if you're looking for something to do, I've got the goods here:

Friday - March 20th

  • Overburden, Princeton, 7:30 PM
    The Princeton Environmental Film Festival will screen Overburden at Robertson Hall on March 20, exploring how a global steel company's "green" mining plans endanger both communities and wildlife in Africa’s Nimba Mountains (more info here).
  • Easter/Spring on the Farm, Hillsborough, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
    Families can celebrate the season with hayrides, baby chicks, giant Easter eggs, and photo ops with the Easter Bunny at Norz Hill Farm’s spring event, which also features farm stand treats and prizes for participants in the Easter Egg Search; $15/person for the Egg Search, $8/person for general entry; (more info here).
  • Candlelight: The Lord of the Rings, Long Branch, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
    The Pollak Theatre will glow with candlelight on March 20 for a string quartet tribute concert celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings, featuring beloved themes from the trilogy and inviting fans to dress in Middle-earth-inspired attire; tickets start at $35, (more info here).
  • Trivia Night, Princeton, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    Terhune Orchards will host an evening of trivia fun on March 20, with DJ Iron Mike leading rounds in categories from entertainment to sports as guests enjoy wine, light bites, and good company in the winery’s relaxed setting (more info here).
  • Sunset Meditation at the RVCC Planetarium, Branchburg, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    The RVCC Planetarium will dim the lights for a guided sunset meditation on March 20, inviting guests ages 10 and up to unwind in reclining seats under a star-filled dome for a mindful journey from Earth to the edge of the galaxy, with tickets priced at $11 for one show or $20 for two back-to-back (more info here).

Saturday - March 21st

  • Spring Artisan Market, East Amwell, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    Unionville Vineyards will host its Spring Artisan Market this weekend, featuring local vendors, live music, and food alongside wine tastings from the vineyard’s acclaimed estate-grown selection; Antimos Italian Kitchen will serve on Saturday, and Sunday’s food and music lineup will be announced soon (more info here).
  • Shamrock Shuffle B’ville, Bernardsville, 10:00AM
    The Sixth Annual Shamrock Shuffle returns to Bernardsville on March 21 with a certified 5K race, 2-mile walk, and kids fun run celebrating St. Patrick’s Day spirit, with proceeds benefiting the School of Saint Elizabeth; $20 admission (more info here).
  • Princeton 5K, Princeton, 8:30 AM
    The 17th Annual Princeton 5K will bring together runners and walkers of all ages this Saturday to support the Princeton High School Cross Country and Track & Field teams, with a Kids Dash offering a 300-meter loop for participants under 10 (more info here).
  • Gem Show – From Earth, To Gem, To You, , 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
    Roman Jewelers will host a special gem event featuring rare, sustainably sourced gemstones curated by gem hunter David Artinian, offering guests the chance to select and design custom jewelry pieces while learning about global gemstone artistry and competing to win up to $1,000 in gems (more info here).
  • Keyport St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Keyport, 1:00 - 4:00PM
    Keyport will celebrate Irish pride on March 21 as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns, bringing pipe bands, floats, and community groups to the downtown area, with participation organized by the Keyport Business and Beautification Committee (more info here).
  • Highlands St. Patrick's Day Parade, Highlands, 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
    The Highlands St. Patrick’s Day Parade will step off March 21 with nearly 100 marching units, including pipe bands, Irish dancers, and festive floats, filling Waterwitch Avenue with music, giveaways, and community spirit. More info here
  • Vintage Clothing Market & DJ Bilo, Asbury Park, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    Asbury Park Brewery will host a day of style and sound on March 21, featuring a vintage clothing market with designer finds and upcycled fashion, accompanied by a live set from DJ Bilo. More info here

Sunday - March 22nd


  • Breakthrough Bakery Popup, Hillsborough, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
    Breakthrough Bakery will host a pop-up featuring its signature sourdough-based baked goods, all crafted from scratch and slow fermented for flavor and nutrition, with preorders available for pickup at the Barn on March 22 (more info here).
  • First Festival of the Year, Howell, 12:00PM - 5:00PM
    Cardinale Farms will host the First Festival of the Year on March 22, featuring live music by Thiago Barreto, pony and train rides, bounce houses, farm animals, a playground, and Brazilian food for a fun-filled family celebration. $15/person for adults, more info here
  • Despised NJ, Buzzkill, Shut Up!, Battalion Zoska, Asbury Park, 3:00 PM
    Wild Air Beerworks in Asbury Park will crank up the volume on March 22 with an afternoon all-ages-style hardcore and punk show featuring Despised NJ, Buzzkill, Shut Up!, and Battalion Zoska, with $15 admission paid at the door. More info here
