Hope you're having a fantastic week. This weekend looks really nice, spring is finally upon us! Should be mostly sunny throughout the weekend, with temps in the low 40s to high 60s.

If you're looking to take advantage of that this weekend, here's what's going down:

Friday - March 27th

  • Makers Day, West Windsor, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    The West Windsor Branch Library will host its annual Makers Day featuring hands-on STEAM activities, storytime, crafts, and robotics play for children and teens, offering a full day of creative exploration open to all ages without registration.
  • Garden State Film Festival, Asbury Park & Long Branch, Various Times
    The Garden State Film Festival returns from March 26-29, 2026, showcasing four days of independent films, panels, and special events across the Jersey Shore, featuring a red carpet gala, filmmaker meet-and-greet, and the annual awards banquet celebrating cinematic talent from around the world (more info here).
  • Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader Trivia Night, Farmingdale, 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
    Tall Oaks Farm + Brewery will host a fun-filled trivia night inspired by the classic game show, inviting guests to test their knowledge and enjoy free admission with Chick-Fil-A serving food from 5 to 8 p.m. More info here
  • Artist Opening Reception, Princeton, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
    The Present Day Club will host an opening reception for "Before the Rain," a new exhibition by Katharine Dufault featuring landscape paintings that capture the still, transformative moments in nature just before a storm.
  • Café Improv, Princeton, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
    The Arts Council of Princeton’s Solley Theater will host Café Improv, a long-running showcase of local musicians, poets, and performers that connects emerging and seasoned artists in an evening of creative expression (more info here).

Saturday - March 28th

  • Wall Township’s Easter Egg Hunt, Wall Township, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    Wall Township will celebrate its 175th anniversary with a special edition of its annual Easter Egg Hunt at Community Park, featuring patriotic prize baskets for finding “175th” eggs, fun for children ages 3–10, and a visit from the Easter Bunny (more info here).
  • Craft Market, Tinton Falls, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
    The Fort Monmouth Recreation Center will host a spring craft market featuring handmade goods from local artisans, including jewelry, pottery, sea glass art, and home décor, with free admission and parking for shoppers looking for unique gifts (more info here).
  • Winery Weekend Music Series with Firepits & Mulled Wine, Princeton, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    Terhune Orchards Vineyard & Winery invites guests to enjoy local musician Chris P, warm firepits, mulled wine, and hearty farm-fresh bites as part of its relaxed weekend music series celebrating good wine, good food, and community spirit (more info here).
  • Photorama 2026, Cranford, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
    The New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs will host Photorama 2026 at the Cranford Community Center, featuring acclaimed photographer David Akoubian leading workshops on landscape, macro, and wildlife photography, along with hands-on sessions and model shoots. Tickets are $33, more info here.
  • Downtown Cranford Spring Hop, Cranford, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
    Downtown Cranford will host its annual Spring Hop, where children can collect eggs from local businesses, meet the Easter Bunny, and receive a $5 gift card with each $15 tote bag purchase in a family-friendly celebration of the season. Tickets are $17.54, more info here.

Sunday - March 29th

  • Our Lady Peace 30th Anniversary Tour with The Verve Pipe, , 7:00 PM
    Canadian rock icons Our Lady Peace will celebrate their 30th anniversary with a tour stop featuring special guests The Verve Pipe, performing decades of alternative rock favorites from their multi-platinum career (more info here).
  • Lectures on Tap: Loyalists, Hillsborough Township, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
    Historian Maxine N. Lurie will lead a casual talk at Flounder Brewing on New Jersey’s Revolutionary War Loyalists, exploring how divided colonial residents were and drawing connections between those conflicts and today’s polarized climate (more info here).
